How the Billboard ranks

The AI Music Billboard is ranked by one thing: real votes from real people. No invented stream counts, no pay-to-win, no secret weighting. Here is exactly how it works.

It's votes — that's it

The chart is ranked purely by how many votes a track has earned this week. Most votes is #1. There's no hidden popularity score and no algorithmic boosting — campaign harder and you climb.

Two charts

  • Weekly Hot — cumulative votes for the current week. The official chart. It wipes completely every week.
  • 🔥 Trending Now — ranked by vote velocity: votes in the last few hours. It moves constantly, so whatever's hot right now rises — even if it entered late.

One free vote a day — plus earned boosts

You get one free vote every 24 hours. On top of that you can earn boosts — extra votes — by helping spread the chart: sharing it, keeping a daily voting streak, and bringing in new voters. Boosts are earned, never bought(there's no paid option). You can back a single track up to 5× a week, but each repeat on the same track counts less, so rank reflects how many different people back a track, not who spammed it. See how to earn votes →

Votes are deduplicated server-side by a salted, non-reversible fingerprint (a per-browser token plus your network address) and gated by a Cloudflare Turnstile bot check on your first vote of a session. It's "fair enough", not perfect — and the weekly reset stops any single run from snowballing forever.

Full weekly reset

Every Monday at 00:00 UTC the chart wipes to zero. Last week's final ranks are frozen into a snapshot first — that's what powers the Biggest Risers andBiggest Fallers. A fresh start every week means every artist has a real shot. Miss a week and it's gone — so show up.

Spotify-verified entries only

A track can only enter if it resolves to a real song on Spotify. We pull the title, artist, and cover art straight from the Spotify catalog and dedupe by Spotify ID, so every entry is genuine and embeddable. Anything that doesn't resolve is rejected at the door — no junk, no fakes.

Community moderation

No approval queue — submissions go live instantly. If a track is miscategorised or doesn't belong, anyone can report it, and it auto-hides once enough people flag it.

The honesty guarantee

Madda.fakka's own tracks compete under the exact same rules as everyone else — same one-vote limit, same reset, no special treatment, no invented numbers. The chart is only worth caring about if it's real.
