WiFi QR Code Generator

Let guests join your network with one scan — no typing the password.

A WiFi QR code lets anyone join your network by pointing their camera at it — the phone reads the network name and password and connects automatically, no typing and no app. It's perfect for cafés, restaurants, Airbnbs, offices, waiting rooms and your own home. This generator builds one free, in your browser, with no watermark.

One scan to connect

iPhone (iOS 11+) and Android both join straight from the camera — no app, no fiddling with settings.

Stop reciting the password

Print it on a table tent, door sticker or welcome card and never read out a 16-character password again.

Nothing leaves your device

The network name and password are encoded into the image right here in your browser — never uploaded to us or anyone.

How to make it

  1. 1Pick the WiFi tab below and type your network name (SSID) and password.
  2. 2Choose the security type (WPA/WPA2 for almost all modern routers).
  3. 3Style it if you like — colours, your logo, a 'Scan to join WiFi' frame.
  4. 4Download the PNG or SVG and print it where guests can see it.

FAQ

Does a WiFi QR code work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. iPhones on iOS 11+ and virtually all modern Android phones read WiFi QR codes straight from the built-in camera and offer to join the network — no separate app needed.

Is it safe to put my WiFi password in a QR code?

The password is encoded directly into the image and generated in your browser — it's never uploaded. Anyone who can scan the code can join your network, so place it where you'd be happy to share the password (e.g. for guest WiFi). For sensitive networks, use a separate guest network.

Can I change the WiFi password later?

A WiFi QR code is static — it contains the exact password, so if you change the password you'll need to generate and reprint a new code. (For a link you want to edit after printing, use a dynamic QR instead.)
