Convert WebM to MP4

Screen recordings & web video → universal MP4

Convert a WebM (typical for browser screen recordings and downloaded web video) to a standard MP4 in your browser — re-encoded on your device's hardware so it plays in editors, on phones and on social platforms. Nothing uploaded.

Made for screen recordings

Browser and app screen captures usually save as WebM — MP4 makes them editable and shareable everywhere, including iPhones and video editors.

Nothing uploaded

Your video is processed entirely on your device — it never leaves your browser and nothing is stored on a server. Watch the network tab: no upload.

Free, no watermark, no caps

No account, no watermark, no length or file-size tiers, no daily limit. The things other video sites paywall are simply free here.

How to do it

  1. 1Drop in the .webm file.
  2. 2Optionally trim to the useful part.
  3. 3Export the .mp4 and use it anywhere.

FAQ

Why do my screen recordings come out as WebM?

Browser-based recorders use the web-native WebM format. It's fine on the web but poorly supported by editors, iPhones and some platforms — MP4 fixes that.

Will the conversion lose quality?

WebM's VP8/VP9/AV1 video is re-encoded to H.264 at a high-quality setting on your own hardware; for screen content the difference is typically invisible.

Is anything uploaded?

No — it converts on your device, in the browser.
